How to spot a serial killer?

These days, it’s easier to identify a person who committed a cold-blooded murder than a few years earlier,thanks to modern technology.The Director of Centre for Applied Criminology in Birmingham has defined five key traits for murderers :


1.A power junkie

Criminals are usually attention seekers.They crave power and want to have full control over people who surround them.

2.Manipulation

Lots of the world’s most known lawbreakers have an unusual ability to manipulate others,hide their true colors and make themselves look innocent.

They constantly try to justify their behaviour with senseless excuses and pass the blame for it on sb else.


3.An egoistical bragger

Serial killers often boast about the things they’ve done to their next victim or to their accomplices 

fe.Trevor Handy bragged about one of his murderers to his brother and as a consequence he got arrested.


4. A superficial charm

Offenders tend to play with people’s feelings and use any vulneralibities or compliments to prove that they’re doing a good thing.

fe.Ted Bundy is one of them-He seduced women and gained their trust only to rape and kill them later. 


5.A pillar of community 

Many psychopats can look like an average person on first sight and act like everybody else so they don’t seem suspicious. fe. Fred West behaved like a normal person but in reality he abused others in terrifying ways.His looks enabled him to get away with many stuff he did.

There are many types of evidence in a crime scene.   The first one is called trace evidence, it contains: dirt,soil,twigs,fibers,sand,grass,leaves, tape,gravel and bullet fragments. Reindeer eyes change color in different seasons

Reindeers have the ability to change the color of their eyes to help them get through dark, northern winters. Glen Jeffery - professor of neuroscience at the Institute of Opthamology at UCL- explains why most of the time we see glowing, golden eyes of animals.
